Larry Weiss My mother, of blessed memory, was a survivor of the Holocaust, so she was an even more protective than the typical Jewish mother. I was not allowed to ride a bike without stabilisers, not cool after a certain age. When I was 55 years of age I finally began cycling (without stabilisers!). Long rides like the Pru100 and the training for the ride enable me to make for lost time.

A very dear friend's life was saved by Shaare Zedek. Your support will inspire me to make it up Box Hill, Leith Hill, and all the other undulations of Surrey and London. I am sure my mother will forgive me if she knew I was raising money for Shaare Zedek so that it can save more lives and bring lives into this world. Larry Weiss
