Shaare Zedek Medical Centre is an incredibly special hospital in Jerusalem that treats everyone universally without regard for religious or political views or background. It is a ‘hospital with a heart’.

They are the most centrally located hospital in Jerusalem and so are often called upon during times of emergency, particularly during the recent spate of terror attacks.

They also do ground breaking international disaster recovery work in areas that have undergone trauma, most recently in Nepal.

The hospital itself is not government funded and relies upon the generosity of donors.

Please help Sasha and Sam reach their target of £500 to purchase a paediatric wheelchair for the new Women and Children’s hospital. In a city where over half the children live below the poverty line, Shaare Zedek was one of the first hospitals to recognise a need for specialist paediatric medical facilities. Help us reach our target as we don our running shoes for Shaare Zedek!
