Da Vinci (Robotic) Surgical System

At the end of March four special procedures were performed on children at Shaare Zedek using a new robotic system called the Da Vinci Surgical System. This is the newest and most advanced system available and we'll be using it across a number of departments. Read more

Permanent Yahrzeit Programme

The Permanent Yahrzeit Programme ensures that Kaddish will be recited every year on the anniversary of your loved one’s passing. On that day, the name of the departed will be recited during services when Kaddish is said at the SZMC synagogue. Read more

Shaare Zedek’s, one-stop multidisciplinary and comprehensive Diagnostic Breast Health Center combines mammography with an integrated, holistic approach incorporating ultrasound and MRI imaging. Read more

Lesley and Leon Berman Paediatric Dialysis Unit

Shaare Zedek’s Department of Nephrology is home to one of only four Paediatric Dialysis Units in all of Israel. It is regularly filled beyond capacity, treating many children with end-stage renal disease. Read more

Wilf Woman and Infant Center on "Charlie's Floor"

The Wohl Surgical Complex

The Surgical Operating Complex at Shaare Zedek Medical Centre, which opened in 2010 is today the fastest-growing surgical operating facility in the Jerusalem area. In 2016, the Complex performed a total of nearly 33,000 surgical procedures. Read more

Weinstock Family Department of Emergency Medicine

Shaare Zedek's trauma expertise, together with its central location, has resulted in the hospital treating the majority of victims injured in terror related incidents.  We have Jerusalem's busiest ER and in 2018 treated over 163,000 patients including 34,756 paediatric ER cases. Read more
