In October Zak Kanter visited Shaare Zedek with his family to see the dialysis machine that he worked so hard to raise money for. After 2 years of growing his hair which he donated to Zichron Menachem, Zak also raised over £20,000 to purchase this special machine which has already helped dozens of patients, giving the gift of health to hundreds of children each year. The money he raised has also paid for a respirator for the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU).
Zak shared, “It is so special to see such an incredible place in action. I can’t believe that growing my hair for 2 years led to those machines being purchased. It really puts things into perspective…Please G-D we should always be on the giving side.”
