Nathan Morris is currently training hard for the London Marathon when he hopes to raise at lease £2,500 to purchase vital equipment for the new Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit. Equipment for which there is no governement funding.

2013 is a very exciting year for Shaare Zedek as construction work is completed on its New Generation building, so called because it will be dedicated to the care of all children in Jerusalem regardless of their race or religion. However, as the hospital does not receive any government funding for equipment or research they need the support of their friends from around the world to ensure that this essential facility is able to fulfills its vital mission.So whether you could just about amble around the 1k or feel like setting a new record for the 10k, please sign up today to run for Shaare Zedek at this year's Community Fun Run on 26th May in order to help create a healthier Jerusalem for tomorrow.

Click here to support Yarden's Cycle for Life to raise money for patients suffering from cancer at Shaare Zedek.

On November 9, 2012, Yarden Frankl will attempt a 260 kilometer non-stop bike ride from the Hermon Mountain in the Golan Heights past the Dead Sea and then to his home in Neve Daniel. The ride will go from Israel\\\'s highest elevation to its lowest and then up to the country\\\'s second highest spot. The ride will start at 2:00 AM and finish  approximately 12 hours later. He is doing this ride to raise funds for the Oncology Department at  Shaare Zedek Medical Center in appreciation of the treatment that his wife, Stella, received over the past  year.
