Private reception at the home of Shaare Zedek UK President Laura Wolfson Townsley
On the 26th February 2013 Laura Townsley Wolfson, Shaare Zedek UK's President, together with her husband Barry kindly hosted a reception in their home in St John's Wood.
Guests were treated to fascinating talks from Professor Jonathan Halevy MD, director general of the Shaare Zedek Medical Centre in Jerusalem, and Ehud Yaari, political commentator for Israel television's Channel Two news and one of the country’s foremost experts on the Middle East.

Young Shaare Zedek UK Purim Party at The Gallery West Hampstead. Over £1500 was raised for the Children's hospital in Jerusalem.
Whisky Tasting Evening
Guests enjoyed a fascinating talk and sampled the delights of whisky from the Isles. Over £2,000 was raised and special thanks to Judi and Yossi Bauernfreund who so generously hosted this for us.
Andrew Wilde receives recognition
Pictured are Shaare Zedek Manchester Director Filis Rosenberg, and centre, Concert Pianist Andrew Wilde, who gave a private recital, to 40 guests at the Whitefield home of Hilary and David Krebs.
Andrew was presented with a replica plaque representing the plaque at the hospital in Jerusalem in recognition of his ongoing support, which has helped to raise £10,000.

Philip Treacy And Zandra Rhodes Fashion Show Lunch
Royal and celebrity milliner Philip Treacy together with flamboyant designer, Zandra Rhodes captivated Shaare Zedek guests during our ladies lunch. They showcased their latest collections in the glamorous surroundings of The Haymarket Hotel. The designs were worn by models from the prestigious IMG Agency and the John Frieda salon styled their hair.Over £73,000 has been raised.
Junior Triathlon 2011
29 youngsters braved the cold to take part in the Hatch End Junior Triathlon, in aid of Shaare Zedek's new children's hospital. Over £5,000 has been raised and many thanks to all the runners and supporters
Young Shaare Zedek Purim Party
Young Shaare Zedek put on a party to remember! More than 140 young people dressed up and celebrated Purim in style at Elixir Bar and danced the night away, while raising money towards the new Children's Hospital at Shaare Zedek.
Whisky from the Isles
45 people celebrated Burns Night in style, by attending Shaare Zedek's whisky tasting led by Sydney Braham who entertained and educated our guests on whisky from the Isles. We are extremely grateful to Rita and Stanley Davis for hosting the event and to Gary Simmons for all his help

Shaare Zedek UK held a Chanukah Fair to launch its "Generations on a Plate" cookbook in a beautiful Hendon home.
